Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Ability to read telemetry strips preferred.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Current or previous employees must disclose previous employment on the resume or elsewhere in the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: General medical patients including sepsis, COPD, bowel obstructions, and CHF. RNs titrate insulin and heparin drips. No tele monitor techs on the unit; telemetry is monitored from a centralized location in Arizona and staff use the Ascom app on iPhone. Charge nurse does not take an assignment. 1 CNA to 10-14 patients. Uses CPAP and established BiPAP only.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as needed. Holidays as required.

Floating Requirements: First to float within Region I. If staff is not needed on the unit, travelers may be floated elsewhere for support throughout Region One, including St. Anne Hospital in Burien, WA, and Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA.
