Our client, a leader distribution center in Plainfield is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting facility upkeep and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Plainfield, IN
Pay Range: $25
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:45 PM - 11:15 PM Monday - Friday)
What's the Job?
- Perform general facility maintenance and repairs to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist other maintenance team members with various maintenance activities.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on machinery and building systems.
- Detect and report defective materials or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety regulations.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of conveyor experience preferred.
- Ability to work on the second shift and overtime as needed.
- Must have recent maintenance experience. (Within last 6 months - 1 year)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
