CO-OP, STARTUP & LABS MARKETING 

The Role 

Fidelity Labs is seeking a Startup & Labs Marketing Co-Op to join our Central Business Operations team. In this role, you'll help execute marketing initiatives for Fidelity Labs portfolio companies while supporting efforts to strengthen and amplify the Fidelity Labs brand, both internally and externally. You'll gain hands-on experience across startup marketing, social media, events, brand management, and communications, collaborating closely with founders, marketers, and innovation leaders. 

The Responsibilities 

  • Support go-to-market initiatives for Fidelity Labs portfolio companies, helping drive awareness and engagement for new products and services. 

  • Own day-to-day social media support for Fidelity Labs, including content planning, content creation, publishing, and performance tracking. 

  • Assist with planning and execution of internal and external events, including workshops, conferences, speaking engagements, and community-building activities. 

  • Help create and manage marketing materials including presentation decks, digital assets, branded collateral, and swag. 

  • Support updates to the Fidelity Labs website and other digital channels. 

  • Assist with internal communications efforts that help socialize Fidelity Labs' ventures, programs, and impact across Fidelity. 

  • Conduct market and competitive research to support marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives. 

  • Support additional marketing and operational projects as needed. 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring 

  • Previous internship, co-op, campus leadership, or relevant work experience preferred; candidates should have completed at least one prior internship or co-op experience. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Interest in startups, innovation, technology, and venture building. 

  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation.   

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 

  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). 

  • Experience with graphic design, video editing, or digital marketing tools is a plus. 

 

The base salary range for this position is $20 - $32 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
