Physical Therapy Assistant

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for PRN Acute Care Therapies to support patients across our hospitals. In this role, you will deliver therapeutic exercises, mobility and gait training, and functional activities under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will monitor and document patient progress, educate patients and families on safe mobility and home exercises, and collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and rehab team members. Working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, you will uphold safety, infection prevention, and quality standards while contributing to excellent outcomes and compassionate care.
