What You'll Be Doing

  • Scale loose rock from underground mine walls and ceilings to maintain safe working conditions
  • Operate scaling equipment and tools safely and efficiently in confined spaces
  • Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify and address potential hazards
  • Perform basic equipment checks and communicate maintenance needs
  • Collaborate with team members to support safe and productive quarry operations

  • Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively in underground environments
  • Strong safety mindset with the capability to recognize and mitigate hazards
  • Ability to follow procedures, communicate clearly, and work as part of a team
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort performing basic equipment inspections
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in physically demanding conditions

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level

What We Offer

  • $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
