Job Description:
Based at our Brillion, WI headquarters, this role supports our growing service business with a primary focus on RapidCare parts, accessories, and attachments for the Ariens, Gravely, and Henry's brands. You'll have the opportunity to create innovative design solutions that enhance the performance, serviceability, and customer experience of industry-leading outdoor power equipment.
THE DAY TO DAY...
- Develop and supply technical information of medium to high complexity such as 3D models, 2D detailed drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to communicate design intent to other groups as required. These groups will include Design Engineering, Tooling, Sourcing, Testing, Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical Publications, and Industrial Design
- Document and present technical information during design reviews, normally in the form of CAD model presentations and manipulations for viewing and discussion
- Investigates problems and requirements of assigned projects and develops solutions in line with established project objectives
- Supports multiple projects concurrently
- May work with Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, and platform managers to help prepare component and tooling cost estimates
THE REQUIREMENTS...
- Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience directly related to the performance of the duties outlined
