Hospice Medical Director

Heartland Hospice, part of ProMedica, seeks a Hospice Medical Director to lead and oversee medical care for hospice patients across home and facility settings. The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership for an interdisciplinary team, authorize hospice eligibility, manage complex symptoms, and ensure high standards of pain and symptom control. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring hospice physicians and advanced practice providers, collaborating with nurses, social workers, and chaplains, participating in care plan meetings, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance, and promoting a compassionate, patient- and family-centered culture.
