Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services and team leadership in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The Lead Sonographer performs complex exams, verifies orders, and ensures imaging quality and safety while supporting compassionate care for diverse patient populations. This role oversees daily workflow, mentors sonographers and students, and partners with radiologists and providers for accurate diagnosis. The Lead Sonographer also supports quality improvement, protocol optimization, and equipment maintenance across Wellstar’s hospitals and care settings.
