Lab Technician | GMP Laboratory Environment | 4-Day Work Week | $19.10/hr | Glencoe, MD | One year

Our client, a leading organization in the life sciences and laboratory manufacturing industry, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Laboratory Operations team supporting manufacturing and production activities in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to follow established procedures which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Glencoe, MD
Pay Range: $19.10/hour
Shift: Monday - Thursday | 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Work Type: Onsite | Contract

What's the Job?

• Clean laboratory supplies, glassware, and equipment to support daily operations.
• Operate laboratory equipment including glass washers, dryers, and autoclaves.
• Prepare solutions, powders, and liquids according to batch specifications.
• Create and maintain labels, documentation, and production-related records.
• Follow GMP, quality, housekeeping, and safety procedures while supporting manufacturing activities.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma with laboratory-related technical certification and 1+ year of lab experience, Associate Degree in a scientific discipline with 1+ year of experience, or Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, or GMP-regulated environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, wear required PPE, and work overtime as needed.
