Guardian is seeking a CARE Specialist to support New Business Operations by processing newly submitted Individual Life and Individual Disability insurance policies while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and outstanding service.

As the CARE Specialist, New Business Operations, you will play a critical role in helping customers through the new business process, processing policy changes and payments, and creating a positive consumer experience throughout every interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, banking, retail, hospitality, or customer operations
  • Experience processing transactions, payments, account changes, or policy servicing requests
  • Experience working in a regulated or compliance-focused environment
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications simultaneously

You Will

  • Process newly submitted Individual Life and Individual Disability insurance applications in compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Review new business submissions, process policy issuance activities, payments, and policy changes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by keeping customers informed throughout the handling of their requests.
  • Develop expertise in operational processes, fraud controls, and risk management practices.
  • Collaborate with peers to meet quality, productivity, and customer experience goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and enhance the customer experience.
  • Continuously expand knowledge and skills through training, development opportunities, and stretch assignments.

Reporting Relationships

As our CARE Specialist, New Business Operations, you will report directly to a New Business CARE Team Leader.

Salary Range:

$42,830.00 - $64,250.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
