Finance Coordinator

Manpower is seeking an experienced Finance Coordinator to support a critical direct material cost (DMC) reduction initiative within a leading automotive organization. This position plays a key role in identifying and delivering cost savings for current production vehicles and components.
This highly collaborative role partners closely with a cross-functional team consisting of a Buyer, Engineer, Cost Engineer, and Finance Coordinator to evaluate savings opportunities, develop business cases, and support supplier negotiation strategies.

Location: Auburn Hills

Pay Range: $43.77/hr

What’s the Job?

• Validate commercial and technical cost-saving opportunities through detailed financial business cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and quantify potential savings initiatives.
• Develop supplier fact packs and support negotiation strategies aimed at driving direct material cost reductions.
• Ensure compliance with savings governance processes, documentation standards, and approval requirements.
• Analyze complex financial and operational data to support decision-making and cost optimization efforts.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Purchasing Finance
  • Product Finance
  • Vehicle Cost Engineering
  • Plant Cost Analysis
  • Comparable analytical and financial roles
• Proven ability to build, validate, and defend financial business cases
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data from multiple sources
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, governance, and process compliance
