Job Details
Must Have Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience leading a manufacturing facility or major production operation with approximately 150–300 employees.
- Strong background in precision metal fabrication, sheet metal manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or similar industrial manufacturing.
- Direct experience overseeing cutting operations (laser, turret punch, waterjet, plasma, or similar fabrication processes).
- Experience managing paint or powder coating operations.
- Proven success leading production managers and supervisors in a multi-department manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience managing production KPIs including safety, quality, productivity, scrap, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain.
- Strong financial and operational business acumen.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience working within ISO 9001, AS9100, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.
Nice to Have
- Aerospace, defense, medical device, semiconductor, or advanced industrial manufacturing experience.
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume contract manufacturing.
- Experience with robotic manufacturing equipment and manufacturing automation.
- Background in CNC machining, welding, fabrication, or precision assembly.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience implementing ERP-driven production planning and scheduling.
- Knowledge of ITAR compliance.
- Multi-site manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience leading significant operational transformation or plant expansion initiatives.
