Operation Supervisor

<p><b>Volt is immediately hiring an Operations Supervisor in Brisbane, CA.</b></p> <p>As an <b>Operations Supervisor</b> you will:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the daily operation of a transfer station.</li> <li>Assign employees to balance workloads and direct the work of equipment operators, sorters, spotters, and laborers.</li> <li>Assist with preparation of daily schedules and payroll time records.</li> <li>Support efficient site operations by identifying policy or rule infractions and working with management on corrective actions.</li> <li>Resolve customer service concerns and respond to service-related issues.</li> <li>Enforce safety policies and procedures and promote a safe work environment.</li> <li>Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with site requirements and state regulations.</li> <li>Coordinate pickup of recyclables from area locations and collection bins.</li> <li>Assist with training, coaching, and evaluation of site personnel.</li> <li>Develop strategies and recommendations to address operational challenges and improve performance.</li> </ul> <p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years of experience in resource recovery, waste, recycling, organics processing, transportation, production, logistics, or related operations.</li> <li>Previous supervisory or leadership experience.</li> <li>Knowledge of personnel training, supervision, and employee evaluation.</li> <li>Understanding of workforce planning, resource allocation, and budgeting principles.</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.</li> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li> </ul> <p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree.</li> <li>Experience in transfer station, recycling, waste management, or resource recovery operations.</li> </ul> <p><b>Pay Rate:</b> $41.00/hour</p> <p><b>Hours:</b> Full-Time Day Shift </p> <p><i>Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</i></p> <p><b>Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
