A bit about us:

We are an established manufacturing organization looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse and shipping operations at our Leominster-area facility.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the operation rather than managing exclusively from behind a desk. You'll oversee a warehouse team, keep product moving efficiently, maintain inventory accuracy, and identify ways to make the operation safer, more organized, and more productive.

We're looking for a leader who can balance people, priorities, safety, quality, and deadlines in a busy manufacturing environment.

Why join us?

1st shift schedule
Up to $90K annually
Comprehensive benefits package
Stable, established manufacturing environment
Hands-on leadership opportunity
Opportunity to improve warehouse processes and procedures
Strong focus on continuous improvement
Ability to coach, develop, and build a successful team
Direct impact on shipping, inventory, productivity, and customer satisfaction

Job Details

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you'll take ownership of daily warehouse activities while leading a team responsible for shipping, receiving, material movement, inventory, and related operations.

You'll establish daily priorities, allocate manpower appropriately, monitor performance, and make sure customer and production commitments are supported. Just as importantly, you'll be expected to look beyond today's workload and find opportunities to make the department better over time.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees across daily operations
Establish daily work priorities based on shipping, receiving, inventory, and production needs
Coordinate staffing and schedules to maintain appropriate coverage
Monitor productivity, accuracy, quality, and overall department performance
Oversee outbound shipments, incoming materials, loading, unloading, and product storage
Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counting and established warehouse controls
Ensure materials and finished goods are properly handled, staged, stored, and documented
Monitor warehouse equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance when necessary
Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and proper material-handling practices
Track departmental performance and address issues that could impact service or production
Develop and reinforce standardized warehouse procedures
Train employees and provide ongoing feedback to strengthen individual and team performance
Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement practical solutions
Support cost-control initiatives without compromising safety, quality, or service
Apply Lean and continuous-improvement principles to warehouse operations
Work closely with manufacturing, operations, and other departments to keep materials and finished product moving
Create a culture of accountability, communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
Previous warehouse supervisory or leadership experience
Experience within manufacturing, distribution, shipping/receiving, or logistics
Strong understanding of warehouse safety and material-handling practices
Experience directing employees and assigning work based on changing operational priorities
Ability to coach employees while maintaining clear expectations and accountability
Comfortable working with warehouse management and inventory systems
Strong computer skills
Experience working with forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment
Ability to analyze productivity, inventory, staffing, and workflow challenges
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Understanding of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts is highly desirable
Associate degree or related education is a plus, but equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered
The Right Person

You don't need to be someone who wants to sit in an office all day.

We're looking for a visible, hands-on warehouse leader who understands what's happening on the floor, communicates well with employees, holds the team accountable, and isn't afraid to jump in when priorities change.

If you enjoy leading people, improving processes, and keeping a fast-moving manufacturing operation organized, this could be a great next step.
