Work Type: Full Time
Shift: Shift 1/7:30:00AM to 4:00:00PM
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$21.01 - $24.69 / hour
Summary
As an EKG Technician III, you'll play an important role in providing high-quality cardiac diagnostic testing while creating a positive experience for every patient. You'll work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our community.
This position performs diagnostic electrocardiographic exams in accordance with Lee Health Cardiovascular Services policies and procedures. The EKG Technician II must be proficient in performing 12-lead EKGs, rhythm strips, stress tests, and Holter monitoring.
The position participates in an on-call rotation, may require overtime, and requires flexibility to work varying hours and days, including weekends, based on department needs.

Requirements
Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience as an EKG Technician II preferred, performing EKG, Stress and Holter Monitors.
Certification:Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire. Certified Cardio graphic Technician (CCT) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
License:N/A
Other:Basic department specific EKG competency is required within 6 months of hire date. Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills.
