About the Role:
The Medical Receptionist plays a critical role as the first point of contact for patients within our healthcare facility, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This position requires managing patient appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining accurate patient records with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism. As a bilingual Spanish-speaking receptionist, you will facilitate clear communication between Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers, enhancing patient satisfaction and care quality. The role demands excellent organizational skills to coordinate schedules, process insurance information, and support clinical staff in daily operations. Ultimately, the Medical Receptionist contributes significantly to the smooth functioning of the healthcare office, promoting a positive environment for both patients and staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- At least one year of previous experience in a medical receptionist or front-desk role within a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver's License and transportation to travel to satellite office location.
