The shop is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Baker, LA, offering $40–$45 per flagged hour with up to $130,000+ earning potential. This Monday–Friday flat-rate opportunity has no weekends and provides consistent year-round workflow, an air-conditioned shop, and modern diagnostic equipment. Technicians focus on advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical, drivability, and mechanical concerns
- Repair Domestic and import vehicles
- Complete engine, steering, suspension, and brake repairs
- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
- Document repair findings and estimates
- Communicate recommendations with Service Advisors
- Complete efficient, quality repairs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Electrical and drivability diagnostic experience
- Ability to complete repairs independently
- Experience documenting repair estimates
- Comfortable with shop software and Digital Vehicle Inspections
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- ASE Certifications preferred
