Pay Range:
$18.40 - $25.30Position Summary:
The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Technician are to support the laboratory staff with the process of hematology products and components. This position will perform a variety of tasks within a laboratory setting that may include component fixation, separation and washes, and blending products according to approved protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with processing of animal and human blood.
Perform component procedures as assigned.
Ensure that product/components are manufactured according to deadline.
Monitoring reagent and supply inventory.
Clean and maintain work areas in accordance with procedures.
Accurately complete and maintain required documents in accordance with procedures.
Display a willingness to learn new concepts and techniques.
Follow company policies and practices and follow guidelines regarding safety.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years laboratory experience. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to follow procedures and knowledge of nonconformance
Ability to handle blood
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of safety procedures and practices
Knowledge of SOPs and lab procedures
