We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including strategic planning, sub-contractor scheduling, negotiation, developing project scopes, team management, budgeting, and responding to RFIs. This role also requires working closely with the manufacturing team on product development and execution. The ideal candidate must have over 5 years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
2. Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
3. Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
4. Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
5. Oversee the acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking with customers, team members, managers, and in-house accountants and negotiating price and payment agreements with vendors.
6. Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.
7. Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure the product is developed and delivered as per the project scope and plan.
8. Manage budgeting process, ensuring projects are completed within the set budget and timeframe.
9. Respond to RFIs promptly and accurately, ensuring all project-related queries are addressed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven history of project management and strategic planning.
4. Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills.
5. Proficient in using project management software, preferably Bluebeam.
6. Strong experience in budgeting and financial forecasting.
7. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage subcontractor scheduling effectively.
8. Ability to develop project scopes and deliver within the stipulated timeline.
9. Must be detail-oriented, an outstanding problem solver, and possess the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an added advantage.
