Are you ready to make a significant impact on how products reach consumers worldwide? We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic professional to join a crucial supply planning organization. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the right products are available at the right time, directly influencing inventory, purchasing, and overall product availability decisions. Your expertise in analyzing complex data will drive key recommendations, optimize supply chains, and support a vast product portfolio, contributing directly to the brand’s ability to meet global demand.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze demand, supply, and inventory data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and critical supply gaps.
  • Review large datasets to determine what to buy, how much to buy, and when action needs to be taken to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Develop and communicate strategic recommendations that effectively balance inventory needs, demand forecasts, supply constraints, and overarching business priorities.
  • Proactively monitor inventory health, identifying potential shortages, excess inventory, or other supply risks before they impact operations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations and merchandising, to execute effective supply and inventory strategies.
  • Present compelling insights and recommendations in business and instructional forums, utilizing clear data storytelling to engage diverse audiences.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into concise, actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Navigate changing priorities and ambiguity with agility, consistently maintaining accuracy and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Support ongoing supply planning and inventory management activities across a high-volume, global product portfolio.

What We’re Looking For (Must-Have Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory planning, inventory management, or a related supply chain function.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Proven experience using data to make critical purchasing, replenishment, inventory, or supply decisions.
  • Strong understanding of supply and demand relationships and core inventory management principles.
  • Ability to identify the key story within data and clearly communicate what is happening, why it matters, and what action should be taken.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including experience presenting to cross-functional or leadership audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working effectively in highly cross-functional environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

What Will Set You Apart (Nice-to-Have Qualifications)

  • Experience in a consumer products or another high-SKU environment.
  • Experience managing complex product assortments involving multiple SKUs, sizes, colors, styles, or seasonal products.
  • Experience with SAP or another enterprise resource planning / supply chain platform.
  • Experience with Tableau, Cognos, Power BI, or comparable business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Experience in replenishment, allocation, procurement planning, or merchandise planning.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced, and high-pressure environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience supporting a large global consumer or retail organization.
