Compensation:
- Hourly Range: $32.61 – $49.28
- Estimated Annual Range: $61,045 – $92,252
Sign-On Bonus:
- $15,000 with 1-year commitment (new grads and experienced RNs eligible)
Relocation Assistance:
- Up to $6,000 (in-state)
- Up to $12,000 (out-of-state)
- Must meet relocation eligibility requirements and receive approval
Position Overview
The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting, collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care across the continuum. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting patients and families physically, emotionally, and psychologically.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Practice
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care plans
- Provides care in accordance with nursing standards, best practices, and regulatory guidelines
- Monitors patient conditions and responds appropriately to clinical changes
- Maintains accurate, timely, and complete documentation
Collaboration & Care Coordination
- Works closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve care goals and quality outcomes
- Delegates tasks appropriately and functions as a key member of the care team
- Advocates for patients and families to ensure safe, effective care
Education & Support
- Educates patients and families on treatment plans and health needs
- Assists in orientation and mentoring of new staff
- Promotes a supportive, compassionate care environment
Quality & Safety
- Participates in quality improvement and process improvement initiatives
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Follows infection prevention and safety protocols
Professional Development
- Maintains current knowledge of evidence-based practices and regulatory standards
- Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning
Requirements
Licensure & Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state
- BLS (American Heart Association) required prior to start
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- BSN preferred
Experience
- New graduates accepted
- Prior RN experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Skills
- Basic proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, and patient care activities
- Ability to lift or assist patients (35+ lbs)
- Exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and clinical hazards
- Ability to respond quickly in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
