Job Description
Saint Luke’s Women’s Health Plaza is looking for an experienced, caring, patient-centered Ultrasound Technologist to join our team! This PRN position will support Women’s Health Plaza as well as two other Saint Luke’s OBGYN clinics within the Kansas City metro area.
Monday - Friday; 8am-430pm
No Nights, No Weekends
Previous experience performing OBGYN scans including anatomy scans required.
The Opportunity:
• Performing a variety of diagnostic OB/GYN ultrasounds, including assisting physicians with ultrasound guided procedures
• Ensuring quality and accuracy of images for interpretation by a Radiologist or OBGYN physician (Varies by clinic)
• Completing worksheets and maintaining proper documentation for each study performed
• Communicating clearly and compassionately with patients
• Scheduling and coordinating tests as needed
Qualifications:
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – Required
• Graduates 2017 or later must also have Associate’s degree
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Associate or American Red Cross required
• Minimum 1 year experience in OB/Gyn ultrasound
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently
