TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local routes in Lafayette, LA.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $23 Per Hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am start
Job Details
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Delivering Electrical Supplies to customers
- Equipment: Day cab with flatbed 48'. Automatic Transmission
- Handling: Driver loads their own trucks with sit-down forklifts, but the customer unloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A on local routes
- Transport electrical supplies in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including loading their own trucks with sit-down forklifts
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- License: CDL A
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
