As the Warehouse Manager you will provide materials, equipment, and supplies by directing, receiving, warehousing, and distribution services.

Compensation aspects of the role are dependent upon knowledge, skills and experience.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains all shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Purchase, maintain & repair all tools.
• Abide by company safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Accountable for the safe work performance and equipment and ensures the work site/ area is safe and OSHA compliant.
• Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned.

Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Shop Management experience preferred.
• OSHA 10 Hour preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete an operator exam and drive powered industrial equipment.

• Requires basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills.

• Ability to lead others including teaching and coaching.
• Ability to walk, stand, squat, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb, reach, grasp and comfortably lift up to 20 lbs.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Must be able to fulfill the essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and a safe manner.
• Work performed primarily inside but must go outside at times for product and various tasks.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
• Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening.
• Ability to pass MVR check (if applicable) or must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a physical ability test.
• Ability to travel, as needed, for projects.
