Full job description
Gastroenterology physician job in District of Columbia : Enterprise Medical Recruiting is assisting a well-established Gastroenterology group in the Washington, DC/Baltimore Metro area in recruiting additional Gastroenterologists. This group has been thriving for over 20 years, remains fully independent (non-private equity), and is expanding due to strong patient demand.
Practice Details:
~ Join a highly collaborative group with 14 Gastroenterologists and 10 APPs
~ No call ? strong focus on work-life balance
~ Hospital coverage only first year: 2 days/month (scoping only, no consults or inpatient visits); 2nd year drops to 1 day/month
~ Compensation model:
~500-600K Guaranteed 1st year income
~ Once fully ramped, make between 700K-1 Million, demonstrated.
Ownership opportunity in physician-owned ASCs and group (retention bonus with equity options)
Experienced physicians eligible within 3 months; Fellows within 1 year
Clinical mix: ~50% clinic patients, ~50% procedures
Advanced procedures available, but the majority of practice is bread & butter GI
Work within a pod model across three convenient sites ? 1 site per day, easy commutes
