Requirements & Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Current NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification
  • Florida Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or ability to obtain prior to performing duties
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to travel between assigned physician offices
  • Comfortable working independently after training

Must Haves

  • Create a reassuring, conversational experience for patients who may be anxious about testing
  • Adapt quickly to different physicians, office teams, workflows, and daily patient volumes
  • Perform cardiac SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging and troubleshoot image-quality concerns
  • Handle venipuncture, radiopharmaceutical administration, radiation safety, and patient documentation
  • Take ownership of equipment readiness, supplies, patient flow, and day-to-day issues without constant supervision
  • Represent the organization professionally while working within client physician practices

Preferred Background & Skills

  • Cardiac SPECT or nuclear cardiology experience
  • Physician-office or outpatient imaging experience
  • Experience with Philips, Siemens C-Cam, GE, or comparable nuclear imaging systems
  • Familiarity with 4DM, Oasis, DICOM, and PACS
  • Strong venipuncture and direct patient-care skills
