Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer (Entry Level to 5 Years Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer with 0–5 years of experience to support manufacturing operations, process improvement, and production engineering activities. The ideal candidate will have experience or strong academic exposure to 3D CAD design, AutoCAD, and CNC machining concepts. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to grow technical skills in a real manufacturing environment. No two days are the same and we'll train you in the areas where you don't yet have experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and improvement of manufacturing processes, tooling, and production workflows
• Create and update 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
• Develop and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Assist in CNC programming, setup, and troubleshooting under senior engineer guidance
• Work with production teams to improve manufacturability, quality, and efficiency
• Participate in prototype builds and transition to production
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues
• Help implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain documentation for processes, tooling, and work instructions
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Opportunity to assist with classic car and Americana restoration projects

Required Qualifications

• 0–5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Exposure to or understanding of CNC machining and basic CNC programming concepts
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Engineering degree or technical training preferred (Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering ideal)

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment
• Exposure to machining, fabrication, or tooling design
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
