Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2040 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - UNC Health Southeastern and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - UNC Health Southeastern.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience caring for adults and pediatrics is required.

Required Credentials: NCI required. Medication exam required.

Special Requests: Permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.

Unit Details: Mixed adult and pediatric patient population. Uses BD Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and central pulse Ox monitoring. Respiratory therapy and house supervisor available 24/7; intensivist available within 10 minutes overnight.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call required. Holiday rotation with other staff.

Floating Requirements: Floating within or below scope of practice.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
