Full job description

  • Level 1
  • 12 OR's
  • Burn Center for peds and adults up to 26 yrs old - have a special burn unit. -> (Locums will not be on burn unit)
  • Typically see up to 35cases per day in the 12 OR's, spread out among all CRNA/MDA's
  • Cases: Level 1 peds cases w/ trauma.
    • No transplants.
    • Flexible with varying comfort levels. Present candidates, they will schedule cases with others
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Shifts typically range from 8 to 10 hours depending on departmental needs. Outpatient surgery center cases begin at 07:20, Monday through Friday.
  • Medically Supervised but independent in the OR.
    • MDA is there for induction only and coming off of sedation.
  • No call requirements - if CRNA wants call, may be a possibility.
  • Will not force locums to do cases they are not comfortable with.
  • Required: ACLS, PALS, BLS
  • Credentialing: 60-90 Days
  • Would prefer PEDS experience within the last year but willing to discuss.
