About Beaumont Children’s Center
Pediatric care clinics with special needs and their families will be supported throughout their unique life journey.
Scope of Work
The Behavior Technician will implement programming and feedback as instructed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and report directly to department leadership. The Behavior Technician shall be responsible for implementing behavior analytic interventions for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- Candidate must be committed to completing the Registered Behavior Technician training if employed at the Corewell Health Exceptional Families Autism Center. Required
- Experience in childcare or work with children with special needs, mental health related experience or education, interest or class work in Allied Health Degrees. Preferred
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 180 Days required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 180 Days required
- CRT-Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) - Behavior Analyst Certification Board Behavior Analyst Certification Board Center for Exceptional Families Autism Center (only) 180 Days required
