Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2450 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 6 months of travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to work independently with vents, various PAP modalities, high-flow O2, and perform PFTs. Must be willing to learn new skills such as home sleep testing and pulmonary rehab.

Required Credentials: Certifications are required to be included at time of submission.

Special Requests: This assignment cannot be worked in conjunction with another permanent placement or travel assignment. Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment. All RTO and scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission/upload; requests made after upload, at or after offer, or during interview will not be approved and may lead to a rescinded offer.

Unit Details: Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric. Clinical work includes ABG draws and airway management, including assistance with intubations. Sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease upon physician request.

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Every other weekend; holidays required if needed. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two holiday blocks, if scheduled/needed: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and weekend after. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted (less is better).

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
