About the Shop

This locally owned automotive repair facility is seeking an experienced Shop / Service Manager in Liverpool, NY to oversee daily operations and lead its automotive service team. The full-service shop has served the community since 1993 and operates a seven-bay, approximately 6,000-square-foot facility. The team services all makes and models and supports both retail customers and fleet accounts. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily automotive repair shop operations and coordinate workflow between service advisors and technicians.

• Manage scheduling, work in progress, sales, productivity, and customer communication.

• Lead, coach, schedule, and hold team members accountable for their responsibilities.

• Resolve customer concerns and vendor issues professionally and efficiently.

• Ensure estimates, repair orders, pricing, parts, and payments are accurate.

• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and professional facility.

• Monitor shop performance and communicate results, concerns, and operational needs to ownership.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of relevant experience.

• Prior supervisory or management experience is required.

• Automotive repair shop, dealership, tire store, or service-center management experience is strongly preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, customer service, sales, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage people, priorities, workflow, and problems in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable using computers and automotive shop-management software.

• Dependable and able to work the full Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $80,000-$90,000 per year, based on experience.

• Sales bonus opportunity with stated total earning potential of $110,000+ annually; actual earnings may vary and are not guaranteed.
