The Skeletal Orthopedic Sports Rehab Clinic in Chicago, Illinois, is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is dedicated to sports medicine, allowing us to utilize state-of-the-art equipment and methodologies. We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, enhancing our service delivery and quality of care.
Work Environment
Working onsite in our bustling outpatient office, you will join a committed team comprising two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The clinic operates between Monday and Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a structured yet supportive work atmosphere. We embrace a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing collaboration and continuous professional development within our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and understand the specific goals and needs of each patient, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
- Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and quality care.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and innovative techniques to enhance movement and mobility.
- Develop individualized care plans using diverse treatment methods, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
- Motivate patients during their recovery journey, promoting adherence to therapy protocols for optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, maintaining open lines of communication for comprehensive patient management.
- Document all patient care services accurately to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness regularly and adjust plans based on patient progress and feedback.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clinic primarily serves orthopedic patients, including athletes and active individuals seeking rehabilitation after injuries or surgeries. We focus on promoting a non-invasive approach, utilizing physical therapy to minimize the need for medications and surgical interventions whenever possible. Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
- An active Physical Therapist license in Illinois, with no disciplinary actions or board actions recorded.

- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
