Responsibilities

All employees will be expected to fully and satisfactorily complete all applicable Shift Duties, as listed below.

  • Prep front of house line for service
  • Ensure accurate, timely preparation of a food order
  • Clean and maintain cleanliness of the Mighty Quinn’s back of house
  • Complete the breakdown and cleaning of back of house, including all equipment
  • Perform any and all other tasks customarily required of a BOH employee


Shift Duties

A BOH employee will be responsible for certain shift duties, which include, but are not limited to, the following:


Opening Duties

  • Make sure all paper goods, containers, utensils, etc. on the line and register are stocked and ready for the day as well as back-ups in case you run out during your shift
  • Ensure all products needed for daily operations are organized, available and up to standard

Throughout the shift

  • Maintain cleanliness of BOH areas
  • Restock products during the shift as necessary
  • Prepare food orders as necessary and according to company standards
  • Communicate with FOH and Line Leaders regarding any questions or issues

Closing Duties

  • Sweep floors in BOH
  • Mop restaurant BOH floor with blue mop
  • Ensure product is full for opening shift
  • Ensure list of prepped items is complete for morning shift


Every team member is responsible for these duties before, during, and after their shift, and Line Leaders should be involved to the extent required at each location. Remember, customers come first, so if any employee sees something needs to be done and but can’t get to it, inform a Line Leader and they will get the job done!

Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience in a fast-paced kitchen or customer-facing role
  • Ability to work with speed, accuracy, and strong attention to detail
  • Solid organization, clear verbal communication, and ability to follow directions
  • Team-oriented with basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Willingness to learn multiple stations and cross-train


Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for a full shift while working
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and lift
  • Must have weekend availability
  • Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain) if required by State, County or Local Health Departments
