We are actively seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum opportunity in Charlotte , Michigan . This is a great opportunity for local providers looking for flexible coverage in a supportive surgical environment.

Location

Charlotte , Michigan

Position Overview
  • Role: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

  • Position Type: Locum Tenens

  • Start Date: April 1, 2026

  • End Date: July 31, 2026

  • Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

  • Shifts: Day shifts with some weekend coverage

  • Providers Needed: 2

Local / Drive-in providers only (travel not covered)

Practice Setting
  • Surgical environment

  • Supervised by an anesthesiologist

  • Fully staffed OR team

  • Level IV Trauma Center

Facility Details

  • 2 Operating Rooms

  • 1 Endoscopy Suite

  • 20 surgical cases per day (including endoscopy)

  • 13,000 annual case volume

  • Patient population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics

️ Systems
  • EMR: Epic

  • Epic training required prior to start (waiver possible for experienced users)

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia for surgical procedures

  • Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia

  • Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and surgical staff

  • Ensure patient safety and appropriate anesthesia care plans

  • Manage a variety of surgical cases across multiple age groups

Requirements
  • Board Certified CRNA

  • Active Michigan License

  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required

  • COVID vaccination required

  • NPDB Self-Query (current month)

ℹ️ Additional Notes
  • Orientation paid at half the hourly rate

  • Physical and drug screen required within 30 days of start (not reimbursed)

  • Providers must be comfortable working independently and handling diverse cases
