The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of outpatient and inpatient urology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Urology or eligible for such certification.
Teaching responsibilities may include instruction of medical students and urology residents.
Clinical responsibilities may include surgical and non-surgical care of patients (male and female) with general urological complaints.
The clinical practice for this position will be primarily based at Pennsylvania Hospital, with potential coverage responsibilities extending to the South Jersey satellite locations.
