What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform lubrication, cleaning and maintenance of fixed equipment including conveyors, screens, and a blending tunnel

  • Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify wear, leaks, or maintenance needs

  • Maintain accurate service logs and communicate equipment status to maintenance and operations teams

  • Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and support mechanics with basic repairs

  • Follow all site-specific underground safety procedures, including ventilation, confined space, and hazardous material protocols

What Are We Looking For

  • Demonstrated ability to safely service and maintain heavy industrial equipment in a surface mine or industrial setting

  • Working knowledge of lubrication systems, conveyor systems, and preventative maintenance practices

  • Strong commitment to safety with the ability to follow surface mining regulations and procedures

  • Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment while supporting a team

  • Effective communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to equipment care

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check

  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
