Rate of Pay: $75k-90k
Food & Beverage Operations Manager
As Food & Beverage Operations Manager, you will work closely with other operational managers to enhance processes, efficiency, and service. The candidate will have a proactive approach to hospitality and will constantly strive to innovate and implement new ideas to enhance our service product. This leader will be overseeing Opaline Bar & Brasserie, In-Room Dining, Banquets, and Refreshment Center outlets.

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Active floor management, driving the service vision within Banquets and Outlets to build guest loyalty and outstanding service results.
- Focus on creating revenue driving ideas and opportunities to engage and innovate with both the local market and in-house guests.
- Ensure that all ambassadors are trained and held accountable for brand standards and that ambassadors are always reflective of our grooming standards and in a clean and proper uniform.
- Manage and develops audit programs of brand standards and completes coaching sessions with ambassadors.
- Consistently has a presence with our ambassadors in the F&B areas while balancing the administrative needs of the position.
- Ensure departmental schedules reflect our service commitments, ambassador needs, and business-productivity commitments.
- Take responsibility of the cleanliness, maintenance, and storage procedures of the operations
- Participate in ordering, inventory, and monitors use of supplies.
- Execute opening and closing checklists.
- Review daily reports (Arrival, VIP, Group Resumes, etc.) and communicates all special requirements and monitors execution.
- Conduct daily shift briefings ensuring that our ambassadors are well informed and prepared to deliver outstanding service.
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed and Accounting standards are adhered to.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for both ambassadors and guests.
- Oversee day to day operation of F&B areas in collaboration with other managers.
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
- Three - five years progressive Food and Beverage Management and Operations experience in a luxury Hotel setting an asset
- Computer knowledge, particularly POS (Silverware) and Microsoft Office an asset
- Hands on management style with ability to prioritize and lead through example
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with great communication ability
- Must be available to work afternoon/evening shifts and weekends.
Physical Aspects of the Position (include but not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps
