Who You Are:
You have an exceptional work ethic, ability to coordinate several tasks concurrently, strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work in a very fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Operate a remote overhead crane to move large packs of glass weighing up to 10k lbs.
- Verifying shipping documents vs. product actually received.
- Performing visual quality checks to make sure product is in good condition.
- Observe all workplace safety rules and regulations.
- Move pallets, goods, and other objects to the appropriate areas.
- Work and communicate with supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Inspect equipment and fill out service requests, as necessary.
- Able to move between different departments for cross-training.
Skills You Bring:
- Experience in the glass fabrication industry preferred, but not required.
- Prior experience with overhead crane required.
- 1+ year(s) manufacturing experience required
- Forklift experience or a forklift operator license preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read measuring equipment (measuring tape, rulers, gauges, etc.).
- Able to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to read and follow instructions and workflows.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to meet schedule and performance expectations.
- Physical ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout your shift.
- Strong communication skills.
