Full job description
At Wenger Manufacturing, LLC, a JBT Marel company, we design and manufacture world-class processing equipment used by customers around the globe. We're looking for individuals who are eager to learn, develop their welding skills, and build a rewarding career in manufacturing.
As a Welder I, you'll work alongside experienced team members to fabricate and assemble quality products while learning industry best practices in a safe and supportive environment.
What You'll Do:
Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks following established procedures and work instructions.
Prepare, weld, and finish simple components and assemblies to meet quality standards.
Set up and operate welding equipment according to specifications and technical drawings.
Inspect parts for proper dimensions, fit, and overall quality.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding tools and equipment.
Safely operate industrial equipment and follow all workplace safety requirements.
Report quality concerns, defects, or process issues to supervisors.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Support team goals and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Follow all company policies and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous welding experience is helpful but not required.
Technical training, welding coursework, or vocational education is a plus.
Ability to learn welding techniques, manufacturing processes, and safety requirements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Willingness to take direction and learn from experienced team members.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Dependable work ethic and positive attitude.
