Travel Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) specializing in inpatient care is sought in Lamar, Colorado. This position involves working as part of a team to provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The PTA will implement patient treatment components, gather relevant data, and modify interventions to ensure patient safety and progress. This outpatient-focused role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to operate relevant equipment in a modern rehabilitation setting.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Must be a graduate of and have a certificate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program; currently credentialed by Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations, State Physical Therapy Board; verification card of current instruction in BLS; at least 2 years of experience with outpatient care preferred; bi-lingual capabilities helpful.
Additional Information: Work environment includes a newly built, well-lighted, heated, and air-conditioned Rehabilitation Gymnasium. Exposure to unpleasant sights, smells, and infectious diseases is possible. Position urgency is considered normal.
