Base Pay is $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
1st shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, processing shipping documentation, managing operational supplies, and collaborating with multiple departments and locations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, customer-focused, and able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, including trucks, trailers, and shipment schedules.
Process and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading and shipping logs.
Enter shipment and inventory data accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and inventory control processes.
Investigate shipping discrepancies and assist with root cause analysis.
Communicate with internal teams, customers, and other company locations regarding shipments, receipts, and order status.
Coordinate inbound and outbound carrier activities and trailer movements at dock locations.
Order, stock, and maintain office, inventory, manufacturing, and safety supplies.
Update and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational reports and dashboards.
Print and distribute shipping schedules, memos, and other operational documents.
Assist with warehouse organization, layout optimization, and space utilization.
Train and support new and existing team members on departmental procedures and tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Attend departmental and operational meetings as required.
Accurately maintain timekeeping records.
Participate in all safety programs and comply with company safety policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and JD Edwards (JDE) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn inventory management systems and operational processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 86 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, lifting, and reaching.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work with numerical data accurately.
- Warehouse environment with exposure to equipment noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, safety vests, and hearing protection.
- Willingness to obtain certification to operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Comply with all applicable occupational health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices at all times.
