Main Purpose of the Role
Responsible for performing maintenance functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in the organization and calibration and preventive maintenance tasks, as well as performing quality tests related to the production of final parts, components, sub-assembly and assembly. Determines and can assist in the development of methods and
procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Work with engineers conducting experiments.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Observe and comply with all safety rules and regulations. This includes the QSR and ISO Standards.
- Performs “set-up,” tests, repair, inspection and / or maintenance of all equipment in different areas (Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, etc.) materials, systems and / or products.
- Identifies, documents and implements corrective actions in equipment used in manufacturing.
- Performs corrective, preventive and calibration maintenance, as necessary.
- Installs and validates equipment in the production area to improve performance and / or reduce cycle time followed by the established validation procedure.
- Evaluate operational data to conduct online adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. You can develop or review documents or procedures.
- Verify and maintain an inventory of your tools, equipment and materials.
- Coordinates the construction of tools and accessories manufacturing for the manufacturing area.
- You may be required to perform other tasks, as assigned.
4th Shift: Friday-Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm
Qualifications
Education: Associates Degree (± 13 years) in Industrial Mechanics, Electronics, Electricity, Instrumentation
Experience/Background
Minimum 3 years: Experience in industrial mechanics, electronics, instrumentation or related area, preferably in medical device industry.
- Verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards.
- Knowledge of quality regulations and standards that affect medical devices (i.e. FDA Quality Systems and Regulations).
- Knowledge of safety and OSHA regulations for corporations, local area and state.

The base pay for this position is $19.05 – $38.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
