Full job description
Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a Harvard Medical School and Tufts University School of Medicine teaching affiliate, is an award-winning, academic public healthcare system receiving national recognition for innovation and community excellence. Our system includes three campuses as well as an established network of primary and specialty practices in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston's metro-north area. CHA is currently recruiting a .125 FTE Medical Director for our Teen Clinics . This leader will serve as the medical director for the teen clinics, responsible for the delivery of high quality, efficient, and patient-centered services, in additional working clinically.
Serve as the medical director and supervising clinician for Nurse Practitioners across all three teen health clinic sites.
Provide real-time and asynchronous clinical consultation on adolescent primary care, sexual and reproductive health, mental health, and complex cases.
Ensure care delivery aligns with evidence-based adolescent medicine standards, trauma-informed care principles, and CHA clinical policies.
Liaise with school health nurses and public health officials, facilitating communication between schools and teen health sites.
Promote clinical excellence, safety, and consistency across sites, maintaining up-to-date knowledge in adolescent and young adult health.
Qualified candidates will be BE/BC and should share our passion for caring for our community and the underserved, multicultural patient population CHA serves. Subspecialty Boards in Adolescent Medicine a plus; in lieu of this, physician must have demonstrated experience in adolescent medicine.
Incoming physicians will work with a collegial group of providers who share our mission and values.
CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Academic appointment is available commensurate with medical school criteria
CHA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, 403b retirement accounts with matching, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), and a CME allotment (both time and dollars). The full time guaranteed base salary range of $240,000-$260,000 is based on years of experience. Total compensation includes base salary plus production incentive.
