BAE Systems is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer to join our design team in Merrimack, New Hampshire!

Typical duties assigned to this position:

• Assist in translating system requirements into compliant complex printed board assembly designs.
• Support to technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting.
• Integrate / Evaluate hardware module performance using simulation tools and prototype hardware in a Laboratory environment
• Create design documentation and verification test procedures.
• Work with hardware suppliers

• Support the debug of complex circuits
• Create/review technical documents such as BOMs, test procedures, drawings, specifications and reports

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
• Familiar with electrical engineering design, schematic capture and analysis tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical capability.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience with printed board assembly (PBA, PCB) design tools
• Experience with FPGA hardware design
• Local power supply design
• Knowledge of memory interfaces such as DDR, QSPI
• Knowledge of data transfer protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, JESD 204, I2C, JTAG
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing and test methodologies
• Experience developing compact embedded systems for harsh environments
• Experience with product development and support of electronics equipment
• Familiarity with AS9145 compliant processes

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
