Full job description
Location: Mansfield, CT
Setting: Inpatient and Ambulatory Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Services
Assignment Type: Per Diem Vacation Coverage
Schedule & Setting
- Monday Friday coverage
• 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
• 8-hour shifts only - no overtime
• Coverage across inpatient and ambulatory child behavioral health settings
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and management for child and adolescent patients
• Treat full spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses and mental health conditions
• Conduct patient intakes and follow-up visits
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary behavioral health teams across care settings
Patient Volume
- Average 5 10 patients daily in addition to scheduled intakes
Practice Model
- Coverage within both inpatient and ambulatory child/adolescent psychiatric programs
• Supportive interdisciplinary care environment focused on comprehensive behavioral health management
Requirements
- Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist required
• Must hold board certification specifically in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
