Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse - $3070 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required. Circulating and monitoring experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Structural heart experience highly preferred. EP experience highly preferred. Scrubbing experience preferred. Trauma Level I experience preferred.

Special Requests: Blocked scheduling cannot be promised. Any past UPH employee who was an FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool cannot work travel in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH rather than as an FTE or PRN, the separation policy does not apply.

Unit Details: The assignment includes precepting as needed.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday with a random day off during the week. Contractors are required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed. On-call: 1-2 nights/week and every 3rd weekend, 7:30p Friday through 7a Monday. Assigned cases may occur on rare occasions.

Floating Requirements: The clinician will be required to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units if needed; the campuses are minutes within one another.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
