Occupational Therapists (OT)
Hourly Rate: $36.00 – $100.00 per hour
Location: New York City (all 5 boroughs); Onsite – School Setting
Position Summary
RCM Health Care Services is seeking school-based Occupational Therapists (OTs) to support students throughout all five boroughs of New York City. In this role, you will help students develop and strengthen the functional, motor, sensory, and daily living skills needed for success within educational settings while collaborating with school teams to support student growth and independence. We offer a supportive team environment with ongoing clinical support and mentorship to help you thrive professionally.
Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift
- Shift details: Full-Time and Part-Time Schedules Available
- Hours per week: 10–30
- Contract length: Full School Year; Coverages Available
- Provide occupational therapy services to students within a school-based setting.
- Deliver in-person therapy services in accordance with student IEP goals and school requirements.
- Support students with fine motor, sensory, self-regulation, visual motor, and activities of daily living skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions in written and/or electronic formats.
- Complete IEP documentation, progress reports, and end-of-year reports, as applicable.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with school staff, families, and other relevant team members regarding student progress and therapy plans.
Education
- Required: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Required: Active State License (OT) in New York
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with school teams and families.
- Ability to manage caseloads, maintain accurate documentation, and meet deadlines.
- Compassionate, adaptable, and student-focused approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
