Full job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to join our patient-centered imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams and assist with image-guided biopsies and interventional procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with radiologists, technologists, and nurses to optimize image quality, verify patient history, and support accurate diagnoses. Responsibilities include operating and caring for ultrasound equipment, documenting studies in PACS/EMR, maintaining strict safety and infection-control standards, and providing compassionate education and support to patients.
