Full job description
The Work:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cleared Software Engineer with deep experience with Java and Spring Boot. You will contribute to the development of the OpenFGA wrapper service and supporting tools, writing clean, maintainable code under guidance of senior engineers.
- Implement API endpoints and business logic for wrapper service
- Develop features for OpenFGA data model management
- Write unit tests and integration tests
- Debug and resolve software defects
- Assist with documentation and code examples
- Participate in code reviews and team ceremonies
- Support onboarding team with technical questions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements
- Background designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with core AWS services
Here's What You'll Need:
- Proven experience in cloud‑native development on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Java and building microservices using Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, and streaming concepts
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Familiarity with automated build and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
- Ability to work on‑site in Arlington, VA two to three days per week

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
